A quick glance at a given weekend in Miami as of late seems to indicate the city not necessarily known for underground electronic music is having a renaissance of sorts. Adam Beyer, Derek Plaslaiko, Dixon, Jan Krueger, Joel Mull, Lee Curtis, Leftroom (Matt Tolfrey and Marc Ashken), M.A.N.D.Y. and Matthew Dear are just a few of the artists who have recently passed through town or will be performing there in the near future. Once known for being an electronic music dead zone outside of the annual Winter Music Conference, it is quite clear that times in the 305 have changed.
